Cheese Open is an international platform uniting the expertise, quality, and culture of the cheese and dairy industries.
Our mission is to promote cheese culture and draw attention to local and artisan producers, who are the heart of this craft. Regardless of size, producers receive equal access to independent expertise, and their products receive an objective quality assessment.
The 2024 competition marked its debut, bringing together professionals from 12 countries. Cheese Open 2026 promises to be even more ambitious, as in addition to the cheese competition, the venue will feature a dairy products competition, a cheese expert-fromager competition, and the Cheese Open Forum—a technology conference with masterclasses, a local produce fair, and tastings.
